Halogen bulb replacement NOT LED

Is there a tutorial that doesnt involve LED upgrades? I just want to replace the stock bulb that burned out with another stock bulb. Thanks.

You can always do just a Sylvania Halogen Silverstar bulb as a upgrade. Plenty of videos on Youtube on how to replace bulbs. Same directions appliy for Halogen vs swapping in a LED bulb

Pull the 6 or so plastic clips from the top of the fan shroud. Pulling the clips out of the bottom of the grille. Pulling the 3 bolts out of each headlamp housing and un-screwing the plastic / rubber cover out of the headlamp and pulling the bulb and putting a new bulb in.

On the driver side you can reach in and replace the light bulb without taking anything apart unless you have gorilla mitts for hands.

The passenger side, I had to remove the air intake lid and box. It's all pretty simple.

Yea Sylvania Silver Star Ultra are the brightest over the counter name brand halogen bulbs, that I’ve used with decent improvement in many vehicles over the years, but at close to $40, actually cost around the same as some LED’s, that may cause issues. The only LED’s I’ve used in the past with no issues and incredible performance over an above any other LED’S, or especially Sylvania SSU, but cost over $200, but work incredible in every vehicle I’ve used them in for years. But when you do use any LEDs you must re aim them lower to prevent the low beams from blinding oncoming drivers. They also make one that fits in the fog lights, but I caution are actually too bright for fog lights, that by design are meant to be only bright enough an low enough to illuminate the fog lines in the road and not glare back at you! I’ve found the stock halogen fog light to work great as intended in the thick pea soup fog we get at times in Florida. Good luck stay safe.
