Getting any patches for Premium Audio to get graphic EQ?

Wondering if anyone knows if they can/will (Alpine OR Jeep) will issue any patch for the Premium Audio to enhance the tone features -- just having bass, mid, treble is NOT premium audio to me. They don't even seem to have a separate control for the subwoofer -- my 14 year old Honda Element even had that!
Seems to me it would be an easy thing for them to provide -- just a DSP program loaded into the Alpine software. Crazy to me that they didn't do this to begin with.

Does anyone who had the 8.4" unit and the alpine premium audio have the model number? Id like to write to alpine about this. It should just be a firmware patch...

I don't think Alpine makes any of the head units, I believe the Alpine upgrade is simply the speakers.

Agreed...my Silverado was very clean sounding. This...well, I have to agree with OP, I had a Honda Element (2004) that had better controls of the sound.

Yeah, I have a Honda Element (2006) -- at least with that, you have a separate control for the sub woofer.
