I recently placed my order for my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, hydro blue, with all the extras. In anticipation of its arrival, I purchased a few upgrades ahead of time, that would be ready to bolt on when she finally gets here. Among them are the EVO bomber rockers. Man, they are awesome. Sadly, my first post on this forum was supposed to be about that. How awesome they were. Instead...

I ordered my EVO bomber rockers from Northridge4x4 on Monday and they showed up on Wednesday. That's absolutely incredible, well done Northridge. They were basically zip-tied together with no packaging, but that's fine, any cardboard would have only served to protect other packages. I noticed there were no mounting brackets. So a quick call to Molly at Northridge, and she said she would contact EVO and have that sent right out. Awesome.

Except, the next morning a very somber Molly calls to tell me that mounting brackets are not included with the rockers. They are $250 extra. That's nearly half the cost of the Bomber rockers ($600). Molly was very apologetic and did offer to accept a return. I explained that I had already painted them, so that wasn't an option. So I told her that since it was impossible to mount the rockers to the vehicle without this add-on, I guess I'm going to pay the $250. You got me, I have no choice.
So that quite the surprise. I thought I was going to pay $600, and I ended up paying $850. How are mounting brackets additional? They certainly are not optional.

Oh well, I got to be the one to iron out communication between Northridge and Evo. Its fixed now.

Nice 1st post. Thanks for the heads up. I am glad you where able to separate the two different companies that you where dealing with and not put the blame on Northridge4x4. Sometimes that can be difficult to do.

Looking forward to seeing Kassandra in the buff with all her new enhancements :CWL:

What says that EVO has not changed pricing on there site and contacted there suppliers since Wednesday?

I am not accusing anyone of anything. Just tossing it out there. Sounds to me like it is a very new product that would only have a extremely limited amount of people effected by the pricing hiccup. Who ever is at fault should step up and pay the difference.

The way Northridge displays them on the website is very confusing. There are 3 different listings for basically the same item, at 3 different prices.

My intent was to educate, some will see the blame on Northridge, others will see it as EVOs. Still others will see it as mine. Regardless, I wanted to share my experience. I will also add that Molly at Northridge said that they (Northridge) don't even have the brackets on stock and they will be drop shipped from Evo.

And yes...
They will be awesome.
Kassandra will be here tomorrow morning.

Northridge has already updated their website, and EVO seems to have removed photos of the bomber rockers on their website. The original pictures both were using were actually JL products. The ones you painted look really cool- much better than what has been advertised. Post up picks when they are on!

Molly said they were going to update the website so the two Rockers and Mounting hardware would be bundled together so this wouldn't happen to anyone else. Within an hour, the website was indeed updated to reflect this.
that is AMAZINGLY fast. Sorry about your troubles, thanks for sharing.

are these bomber rockers the same thing as "rocker rails"?

And my final question, where did you have these painted? looks like it has some texture, looks sharp.

This is from a YT video below

On my Northridge invoice, my part number is evo-912, which doesn't match any of these, but my thoughts exactly, they should be included.

These look like the same ones, but I don't care for the body armor. I wanted just the rails. I painted them myself. First used 60 grit flap wheel to rough them up, then a self etching primer, then 3 coats duplicolor bed liner. The texture is slightly rougher than the factory steel options, but close enough that be one will likely notice but me. And thanks, I think they look sharp too.
