I recently placed my order for my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, hydro blue, with all the extras. In anticipation of its arrival, I purchased a few upgrades ahead of time, that would be ready to bolt on when she finally gets here. Among them are the EVO bomber rockers. Man, they are awesome. Sadly, my first post on this forum was supposed to be about that. How awesome they were. Instead...
I ordered my EVO bomber rockers from Northridge4x4 on Monday and they showed up on Wednesday. That's absolutely incredible, well done Northridge. They were basically zip-tied together with no packaging, but that's fine, any cardboard would have only served to protect other packages. I noticed there were no mounting brackets. So a quick call to Molly at Northridge, and she said she would contact EVO and have that sent right out. Awesome.
Except, the next morning a very somber Molly calls to tell me that mounting brackets are not included with the rockers. They are $250 extra. That's nearly half the cost of the Bomber rockers ($600). Molly was very apologetic and did offer to accept a return. I explained that I had already painted them, so that wasn't an option. So I told her that since it was impossible to mount the rockers to the vehicle without this add-on, I guess I'm going to pay the $250. You got me, I have no choice.
So that quite the surprise. I thought I was going to pay $600, and I ended up paying $850. How are mounting brackets additional? They certainly are not optional.
Oh well, I got to be the one to iron out communication between Northridge and Evo. Its fixed now.
