Any reason I shouldn’t roll the soft top window like this?

I wasn’t overly impressed with the soft top window bag… So I rolled up the back window like you would on a normal wrangler. There’s a strap and a buckle just like a regular soft top wrangler window. Any reason not to do this?

The sides of the window are obviously more rigid but the middle is just as pliable as any other jeep window.

I am super paranoid about creases and scratches, so, I use the Mopar rear window bag...
Note: when it is rolled up, any place where you see a crease in the window is a potential place where the crease may not straighten out on it's own..
Note2: extreme sunlight heat also helps straighten out most creases.

The straps will scratch where they touch the plastic, but I wouldn't worry about it. Just be prepared for it.

I think if I do it this way- I need to be prepared for the fact that the window is going to get a little beat up. I spent $165 on the soft top window bag and the instructions tell you to fold the bag in half. Feel like creases are a possibility in the bag too... and you have to stick the bag somewhere (I guess in the bed but I;d have to secure it). Oh, what a tough problem to have

Mega scratches! from just vibrating. will become hazed quickly
Know this from previous softtops. One of the reasons I wont go back.
