I'm considering the Mopar hard top tonneau cover, but I need to know the height clearance inside the bed. Can anyone tell me the distance from the bed Floor to tonneau cover? Thanks

I don’t have the mopar one but I do have a rugged ridge hard rolling cover. Right at 18 inches. Easilly fits up to a Yeti 75 or similar height cooler.

Just a little to short for a standard U-haul shipping box. Above rail cover might work. I can measure when I get home from work.

I have the Mopar Hard -Tri fold and can measure if necessary later. But on a camping trip I went on recently, it basically fit a Yeti Tundra 65 perfectly underneath the cover when closed if nestled in nicely. So just above 16" inside at the lowest point between the three sections.

Fits a Yeti roadie 24 perfectly. The roll up cover is also around 17.5”

Yeah, I didn’t even think about it when I bought my Gladiator, but over 3” shorter in height than my Canyon’s bed was. It makes a difference and it’s something I have to work around in some situations. The bed is 2” shorter in length too. It doesn’t seem like it would, but it makes a difference when hauling stuff sometimes.

all i can say is shop carefully so you know what your getting, i have to say its pretty confusing as there are so many versions of what appear to be the same tonneau cover, i went with the mopar version trifold , my buddy has the rugged ridge and they are pretty much identical, however he has struts to hold the cover up vertically i do not, also he has knurled knobs holding his in, i have to use a socket on the bolts lying on my back to take out the cover, its not hard these are just things to think about.

Does either the Mopar and/or RR tonneaus open all the way up, for access to the entire length of the bed? I think I read somewhere that one of them only flips twice, leaving the last panel closest to the cab, always down.

The Mopar one doesn't really have any secure way of having the tri-fold completely open besides for leaning on the back window. Looks like one Rugged Ridge one after a quick Amazon search has some extra rods so when the three panels are open, it can be held vertically secure without resting on the back window. Something like this.

I am also interested to know what is the length of the opening (from the tailgate to the last panel closest to the cab when is down). Anyone?
