Asymmetrical rear fenders?

It took me a year before I noticed the back fenders on my overland were asymmetrical. Why are they like that?

Just checked my overland and it is not like this, they are both like your driver side, is your passenger side pulled out of its tabs by chance? Although mine also does not appear to have that much additional painted plastic tucked away that could be exposed like yours anyhow.

Is that a Rubicon/Max Tow on the right side and regular on left?

couldnt find a good shot of the Rubicon but this shot looks like it's got the extra width for the wider axles

yes, this happened last year where some rubicon fenders got installed on one side. there are other threads on this.

This happened to a few early on...you have a Rubicon fender and a base fender. Need to have the dealer replace it.
May as well ask them for the Rubicon left unless you don't like the look of extra tuck because of the wider fender
