It seems some of us have the problem with it opening, some don't.. We have had our Jeep for about a year, and we have never needed to use the key yet....

Yes on Skinny Jeans....

So glad we can have another thread about the frickin' Key Fob. And the "magic solution" is one that's been covered so many times: a plastic coffin that buries the key inside the monolith and saves a ½" in width.

mine fits so well in the little coin pocket on my jeans that it has never been a problem for me at least.
It's not a coin pocket, but rather a watch pocket. There's a historical tidbit of information for everyone today!

I beat you to that one a few posts after his :P Glad someone else knows though, I feel justified in my answer now and didn't just pull it out of nowhere, thanks :)

We didn’t force you to click on anything you did that on your own free will

Each time I launder my fob , I have to take it apart and dry it out, then install a new battery. I'm getting very good at putting the case haves back together on first try.

I don't understand why so many people have such an issue being poked by the keyfob. I've never had it happen on this or any other key that flips in the same way.
Where do you carry your key? Not only poking me daily but at least once a week I lean against something and set the alarm off. The buttons are too easy to hit especially the switch blade key.

Each time? Don't learn from your mistakes?

But this topic has been beat to death many times over, and you don’t present anything new

Please - "one fast food restaurant, one kind of car..." don't give yourself, your video, and your click bait thread that much credit.

Your thread subject, "This may very be one of the very best mods! No more POKING !" teases something useful/informative/helpful when it's the same BS, the same commercially available plastic key coffin - the one that's 1/2" narrower than stock and buries the key inside it. Do you get $$$ from the key coffin people for shilling their product?

Your video is also nothing more than click bait because there's no clue what your video is about. And what it's about is how you bought a plastic key coffin

Maybe it's just experience teaching me a lesson but after a few times of something like that happening I'd change my behavior. Over the years I've learned not to put weight on anything I have in my pocket because it could be costly, like maybe pressing on my phone or a key or even a music player with my weight. When your behavior gives you negative effects time and again you should modify it, like not putting weight onto items in your pocket, you may be surprised that this stops happening to you.
