I don't understand why so many people have such an issue being poked by the keyfob. I've never had it happen on this or any other key that flips in the same way.
It's more likely to happen with additional items in your pocket. I put a silicone cover on mine and that took care of the problem.

mine fits so well in the little coin pocket on my jeans that it has never been a problem for me at least.

I bought one of the AJT fob but didn't like it. I went back to my old key, bought a Gibson leather holster that I clip to my pants and haven't looked back. The AJT was nice but just didn't work for me

I but some black electrical tape over the key. Cut it so it’s a super clean look, can’t tell it’s there. Press the button all you want, it’s not flipping open :)

$4 for 66 feet. I used 1.5”. Ok, maybe 3” cause I wanted to redo it for a cleaner install :)

Can't imagine making they key fob larger
No way in hell am I clipping my key to my belt....maybe I'm too young for that to be a cool look but I don't clip anything to my belt (phone, keys, leatherman). Seems like it would get in the way of sitting, which I do at work and while driving

I thought that tiny pocket was for a pocket watch, which is why they've been doing away with that little pocket for years lol. Either way, I've not had this problem. Maybe wear less tight fitting pants to those who it happens to? Sure it's a little bulky but to expend energy on it and getting angry, hahah. Maybe a small dab of super glue to hold it closed on the side of the key to the frame of the inside of the fob? Only a little tiny bit so if the button gets hit accidentally it doesn't come open, but also just enough to where you can lift it if you want/need and it doesn't block the operation of they key if needed. That way you don't have to add any more bulk, doesn't have to look janky with tape, and it will stop opening on you.

Lol none of my keys poke me when I sit, and I have several plus flash drives. It's not really a "cool" thing as much as a helpful thing since I need to carry most of these for work. I wear this with normal pants too sometimes because my house keys are in it. At work if I take a pool vehicle anywhere they get put right in the key keeper too, more comfortable than having than in a pocket sometimes :) my Jeep fob goes in my pocket though.

The only key I need to carry is my car key. I have a number pad on the front door at home and a badge for work (which I do clip to a belt loop, forgot about it) so no need for additional keys. Key goes in my pocket as do my phone, wallet, and I clip my leatherman to my pocket but have it inside. I'm not here for the utility belt look

Just got one last week. I know it’s not a ton smaller, but it does feel less bulky in the pocket. The only issue I had, other than getting it to close on the first dozen tries, was that I couldn’t read the writing in the fob, so I added color to the buttons. I also didn’t want to remove the actual key from the circular frame , because if you had to use it, you can’t get a good grip on the key.

How many of you guys have keys attached to the fob ? Personally I don’t it’s only the fob maybe that’s why it opened up so much
