Mine was like that - check my posts for the sag, the sides being up, etc.Mine not only lifts, but the side edge "straightens out" where it is suppose to round over a little. Anyone else getting this? The first picture is how it looks when I straighten it out. The second is what it looks like after I drive. It lets water in like you wouldn't believe after this occurs if I don't get out and try and get it back to it's original position. Both pictures are taken while the vehicle is in park (I'm sure someone was going to ask ). Anyone else experiencing this?![]()

When I first got the truck and got home I noticed one side stuck out while the other rounded down better, not great, but better. I posted many photos with my 8' level on the back showing how badly it sagged. It pooled water like a pic in this thread above here. Mine had the same symptoms - loose, sides not going down like they should, flapped in high winds (not so much on a calm day driving at 70, but at 70mph with wind even my wife noticed it)
So with the help of jeepcares, some photos supplied by forum members who have the factory cover that did NOT sag, covers that fit snug, I printed the photos and the email from a person jeepcares passed info on to and went to the dealer. IT was still an argument but then one of the other service writers heard me and spoke up and said yeah, in fact Jeep has a whole online team dedicated to the JT and he'd heard of cover issues and so on. Finally the writer I was going through agreed. I said PLEASE contact Jeep - use the contact info I furnished. Later I got a call that they had opened a star case - then later they said yeah, parts had been ordered and I could get my truck and they'd call when the parts came in.
I think it was a week later the new cover kit came in and it's been fine since. We've had hellish winds and rains. (and I was driving over 80 mph in winds that exceeded 70-80 mph, our infamous derecho storm that did over 4 billion in damage, flattened 10 million acres of corn and other crops and left a city without power - some just now getting power about 2 weeks later.
Rain in the box? Nope, and I was shocked! You mean that cover stayed put while road signs and tree parts were flying across in front of us and trucks were being blown off the road?
Good thing - I have just bought a bunch of bird seed and picked some up for a friend. all that was in the back of the truck under that cover.
Might be hard to tell from this pic but this is the cover as it stands now, months later, 6,500 miles later -
