Hi Folks,
I recently put on a set of Toyo Open Country ATIII's 35x11.50r17's on my JT Rubicon. Driving around town I've had no problems. Went to work, noticed a slight shimmy on my way to work but I brushed it off. Went on a longer highway drive and I noticed around 55-60 that my steering wheel and front left tires has a bit of a shimmy in it.
I'm not sure if the road caused the problem at that speed or what. Had tires balanced again and still not fixed, though I don't know if they did a road force balance. I'm sure the road wasn't good where I was driving, but I shouldn't feel that type of feedback regardless of the road. It felt almost like a death wobble, but not so bad that I felt like I had to not drive.
Wondering if anyone has advice for next steps. I was going to start, first, with making sure I got a road force balance. But not sure what the steps after that would be.
Thanks.
