What do you keep behind the rear seat?

I bet a local metal shop could fab you up some mounts to relocate those car seats to roof or bed crossbars, then you could store all sorts of things behind the seats—divorce papers, microwave meals, bail money...

For that matter, who ever said a Gladiator can only have two rows of seats. I see five feet of space behind the rear seats.

I feel you. We’ve got 2 car seats in the back including one infant car seat. On the plus side, it all fits without issue. On the other hand, hoisting that infant carrier up into the car seat base is a two-handed job, even before a lift.

Been there, done that. No grandkids yet.

I put my water bottles back there. Fits good, seat holds it in place so it doesn't spill. Metal jug for golf. Plastic water bottle for ice hockey.

Behind the seat I have a pair of flip flops and under the back seat I have a shovel, foxtail and a air compressor hose. Oh, and a small tool kit.

I got this in 2016. These were in Cherokee Trailhawks, and I was able to keep it because we ran out of Trailhawks. (The new Trailhawks don't come with it.) It has gloves, a tow strap and some shackles. Perfect first time off-roading kit. On the other side I have a jacket for my wife shoved into the small pocket. The middle is taken up by the Alpine subwoofer.

All models it's by the strap, and you use your flip out key to lock it.

Not a thing behind it lol under it is jammed with crap. Don't ask about that lol might get scary to check and see to make sure
