These might work... https://dv8offroad.com/collections/jeep-jt-sliders-steps/products/srgl-01

Expensive... but they look like they have plenty of backing. I ended up getting this bumper for 424 on black friday... and I had just bought the front for 353... so I get a 200 dollar rebate... so front and rears for under 600 bucks... I'll save some pennies and maybe try out the DV8 ones some time.

That's the main reason I didn't get that bumper and went with the DV8 high clearance bumper instead. I looked at the rugged ridge HD bumper hard because I got a rugged ridge front bumper but I felt like you couldn't add the sliders so I passed and got the DV8 bumper instead. They have a slider you can buy as well and their bumper does come with tag lights. I've been pleased with it.

I don't have the sliders for the rear yet but I will be buying them soon.

Bummer...I really was eyeing the HD rear. I added the after market rear quarter sliders mentioned earlier and was hoping they would mount up. Sounds like I'm out of luck if this bumper does not have a location to mount up sliders in each corner.

I was interested in the RR bumper, also. But, no place on it for tag lights.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/123736342930 I went with these... if they work... I'll let you know. the bumper already has holes for the bolts on the plate. If you splice in to the factory disconnect ahead of the plug these should light up your plate. Plus as an added bonus...it won't glare into the backup camera!

Just bought this bumper. Such bullshit it doesn't have tag light provision. They must be retarded. Where is it not required to have your tag lit up? nowhere.

Anyone tried a different brand of sliders to fit with this bumper?
I don't see why the DV8 ones wouldn't fit? looks like the main difference is that they would not tie directly into the bumper...
Stop talking about things which you know nothing of. I started this thread stating no sliders will work with this bumpers. And I mean no sliders will work.

LOL... I tell you what... since you bought them all and tried them all- we should at least get to see the pictures on why they don't work! When I stock up some cash... I'll buy them and show you the pics if they work or not!

BTW- in one of your earlier posts you stated "if they don't need to tie into the rear bumper they should be fine" --- So I'm just agreeing with you!

See this plate here? That’s facing inward towards the truck. The sliders go well into that corner on a normal bumper. There is physically no way a slider will work unless there cut super short and only attach to the top portion of the truck. The DV8 sliders may not attach to that corner so maybe that would work. But those arent really sliders more of a rocker protection more then anything else.

How is the DV8 ones not sliders, their steel and they curve under just like the stock Rubi sliders do. If your calling them not sliders the you would have to say the stock Rubicon sliders aren't real sliders. I see no reason why the DV8 ones will not work, just seems like it's not what your looking for. If that's the case, find you a fab shop and have some made.

Showed this thread to my Fab guy and he said you should be able to have zomethi g made for $500 or less. I would have him do mine but I'm probably going to buy the DV8 ones since I got the DV8 rear bumper. This Rugged Ridge bumper was on my short list and I'm glad I passed based solely on the tag light issue

Rubi sliders have two attachment points. These only have one. DV8 has a worse reputation for quality then most manufacturers. I’ve seen several complaints on here about them. Sure there better then nothing. And yes you can weld anything you want together. I’m talking plug and play. Yes looks like DV8 will work from the picture. You will still need drop down brackets looks like.
