A minute or so. Just loosening loctite so you don’t break the head of the bolt off.My sliders came today. How long did you heat the bolts?

As a professional rocket scientist, I endorse this post.Did mine, no heat just a 1/2” breaker bar and steady pressure in both directions to loosen it up. Don’t overthink this, it isn’t rocket science.
I have mine at the shop right now. I took two bolts off and put them back. They were so hard to get out, I was worried about breaking the others. Glad I did. The shop broke two others and it won't be ready until the end of the day. What a stupid design by Jeep.Yeah, I just was at the dealer and was told they charge 1.5 hours. Instantly he knew and commented about those bolts.
I live by built not bought but, I’m not playing with those 6 bolts.
Seems to be a lot of variability in how much loctite the factory is putting on the bolts. Mine had a ton on them and I was glad I heated the bolts and tightened/ then loosened by hand.I have mine at the shop right now. I took two bolts off and put them back. The reason for taking it to that shop was they have a heater for bolts and I just want it done. I have bumpers and a winch to put on this weekend hopefully. I heard the guy in the shop and it seems he started right away with an impact full speed. I think that is why they broke. Not positive, just my suspicion.Seems to be a lot of variability in how much loctite the factory is putting on the bolts.
