Has anyone tried fixing it themselves? I was thinking if I could get the trim pieces off I could try sealing it. I hate thinking about taking it to the dealership. Maybe some flex seal would work
I had a leak a couple of weeks ago when we got our first big rain here in Austin, it was the leak as others have reported coming from the top of the window.
knowing that we had a bigger storm on the way I went to Home Depot and got some rubber weather seal, I put it around the top and sides of the window. I'm happy to say that we had a two day storm where 3.5" rain fell at my property and it kept the water out.

I do plan on asking the dealer to fix it, but I've been there too much recently with my steering box replacement, and our grand Cherokee. I need a break from them for a while.
with this weatherstrip I can quickly pull it out, leaving nothing behind.

I have 2 big rolls of that. Haven't gone the fender fill in either. Too late now as 1 day in the driveway under a tree filled the gap with crud.

Mine didn't have a leak initially. After about 7-8 months it did. After a good rain, throw the back seats down and look for water running behind, the seats. I think mine was leaking much longer than I thought, but I rarely had the rear seats down. It has gotten progressively worse. The "leak specialist" checked mine at the dealer and said the seal was cracked across the top of the back glass. I have been on backorder for a new rear glass now for about 6 weeks. Finally got Jeep Cares involved last week. They are supposed to call me today to try and "expedite" my case.

Mine was pretty obvious after the first snowfall. Dealer had it replaced with no hassle. Unfortunately, the glass guy took it off and didn't have the interface piece that needs to be replaced, so they put me in a loaner waiting for it to come in.

Just noticed mine is leaking from the top after going through car wash. Had the truck 6 months gone through car wash hundreds of times and never noticed it till now
Mine is leaking too. What is the warranty coverage on the window mine is a year and a half old 18k miles.

I was storing some stuff behind the rear seats a few days ago and noticed the velcro'd fabric trim piece that hides the hard top mounting torx bolts was wet. I looked a bit closer and there were water streaks on the inside of the window!

I had no idea this was a common problem. I'll make an appointment with my dealership to get an oil change and have this checked out at the same time... I hope the rear trim piece and/or the hard top sound deadening aren't water damaged... Also would be concerned about water damage to the subwoofer or other stuff back there.

I'm hopeful that Jeep will make it right. I bought this truck 1.5 years ago and have only put 14k miles on it.

I think it's only started recently because we've been getting snow in Buffalo (imagine that) and melting snow on the top started leaking into the cabin...

Wow, that looks factory! They probably should've sealed the strange gap between the hardtop and the back window like this from the beginning...

Maybe try mailing some of this weatherstripping to Jeep with a nicely worded description...

Did you stop on the side or did you wrap around the bottom of the window too? Do you have photos of where you stopped the weather stripping

I didn’t have the issue until my first snow as well. Now it’s leaking a lot. Also plastic cracked

I stopped at the bottom of the window, same on both sides.

My intention was just to prevent the heavy water getting into the top area, divert it as such. It's just a temporary measure for now. Using this weatherstrip it can easily be removed.

Finally had mine replaced last week. Have to head back to the dealership this week as there are some decent scratches from removal.

Not sure if someone has taken numbers, but there’s a lot more of us that have had the issue in this thread:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/roof-leak-in-back.25332

There is also a ton of people on the Facebook groups with the problem too. I’m assuming that played a part in the 5 week wait for a window lol.

Mine didn’t really leak at all during driving it, only when it was sitting parked. After a decent rain I could go out and see the water drops along the upper edge of the window inside. When it rained really hard, I actually ended up with a enough water to leave some standing in the storage compartment behind the back seat and on my sub woofer and seat. It also left the fabric on the inside edge of the seat wet. It wasn’t an issue at first, but started this fall at some point. I made it a point to check for the leak based on the number of reports and sure enough mine started leaking. Here’s some pictures of the leak
