I had a leak a couple of weeks ago when we got our first big rain here in Austin, it was the leak as others have reported coming from the top of the window.Has anyone tried fixing it themselves? I was thinking if I could get the trim pieces off I could try sealing it. I hate thinking about taking it to the dealership. Maybe some flex seal would work
knowing that we had a bigger storm on the way I went to Home Depot and got some rubber weather seal, I put it around the top and sides of the window. I'm happy to say that we had a two day storm where 3.5" rain fell at my property and it kept the water out.
I do plan on asking the dealer to fix it, but I've been there too much recently with my steering box replacement, and our grand Cherokee. I need a break from them for a while.
with this weatherstrip I can quickly pull it out, leaving nothing behind.
