what happens when people who arent max tow start putting “max tow” stickers on theirs?

was it the stroke lenght? Or the diameter of the shocks that hurt you?

do you want to buy a set for your max tow? they come up in the classifieds now and again.

When I was first looking my intent was to get a manual with Trac Lok. Then the manual recall that didn't fix the issue moved me to the auto and I noticed for double the cost of the Trac Lok I could get 4.10s, wider axles, class 4 hitch with plugins, better alternator, better battery, better cooling, better payload, better towing, DRLs, etc I was sold. Now the reason I like seeing folks say what they have matters when they discuss gas mileage, towing ability, how a truck looks with bigger tires, etc. I saw someone mention it should have been it's own package and it is in Australia as someone on here has one and it has it's own 'Max Tow" badging.

Sorry, it's more than just a hitch and 4.10 gearing.
It's WIDER than non-max tow, has different rear springs, among other things. And yes, if trying to get help or advice, it should be stated.

this may be a dumb question but can you get the mopar lift and keep the rear springs on the max tow?

I believe it is more of folks making fun of people with Max Tows than actually people saying they have Max Tows. Every time someone says their rubi or Mojave there are no complaints about how they said rubi or Mojave. I will agree that Max Tow is a great option because I purchased a off road capable vehicle that can actually tow vs always owning wranglers with only a 3500 lb tow rating. But when Max Tow is mentioned I assume it is different than a standard sport similar to when you mention rubi or Mojave.

cool. Mine gets loaded down to GVWR and taken to places like africa and mongolia. Ive cracked frames on trucks. Ive broken shocks. Ive busted spring perches.

sounds like we both got the one we needed. You want the mojave to be just shocks, and thats cool; but it isnt, and thats fact.

to be clear. Im not shit talking anyones jeep. I had no idea what made a max tow different from any other gladiator other than a 4.10 rear and stiffer rear springs. People kept specifying that theirs was a “max tow” and it made no sense to me. understanding its sognificantly mechanically different does
