... also turns out I do not need to adjust/recalibrate speedometer jumping from 32s to 37s.
Comparison I made was with waze and other speedo apps before and after and it is still accurate without any adjustment.
Just FYI - as was pointed out in another thread - this is incorrect.

Your apps are reading from your speedometer because you are connected to the vehicle.

You must recalibrate your speedometer when increasing your tire size - by telling it your new tire size. It has no other way of knowing.

This is incorrect. The apps are using the GPS in your phone to determine speed. The Waze speedometer is as accurate as the GPS on your phone, which is not exact, but pretty damn close. I do not know how much recalibrating has to be done between 37s and 32s, but regarding jeepit's post, he may not be seeing a difference because it is within the error of his phone's GPS.

There is an approximately 15% difference in readings. 50 mph on 37s (where the speedometer is calibrated for 32s) is actually closer to 57 mph).

Believe what you wish. I am sure the Highway Patrol would be ok with "but Waze said..."

You obviously missed the point of my response, which was the fact that you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to how Waze, or any other app, determines speed. It is based on the GPS in your phone, which is not accurate (let's say it is reasonably accurate). I DO believe that the speedo needs to be calibrated for the different size tires, but was saying that the previous poster's comment may be true due to the absolute error in the GPS measurements.

But you go on thinking that your app is reading from your speedometer because it is connected to your car, LOL!

I was pointing out the inaccuracy of believing there was no need to recalibrate the speedometer when going from a 32 inch to a 37 inch tire. When you link your phone to your communication center in your Jeep, your apps will use the vehicle's speedometer reading.

Please do believe whatever you want - have the last word if you must, but I am bored and moving on.

What phone are you using waze on? The reason I ask is because I ran 37's on my JLUR and never recalibrated. The speedo was off but I drove using my Android Samsung connected through the 8.4 display. My wife took the jeep and I warned her that the speedo was off and when she returned she it wasn't off and that it matched her waze on her iPhone X. I drove it with her phone connected and sure enough, they matched. I tried my iPhone 7 with waze and it matched as well. As others mentioned, the circumference of a 37 is different than that of 33. It will be off. I have both an iPhone and Android and 40k feet in the air, the Android GPS continues to work while the iPhone does nothing. I'm not sure how iPhone GPS works but it was definitely reading the vehicle speed by the speedo and not satellite location.

If it’s connected to the aux port it will read from the Jeep
