Just gotta say it. I love it. I love driving top down, country roads, good tunes, while rowing my own. I love throwing whatever in the bed and getting it to where I need. I love towing our scout camp trailer without concern. I love the jeep community. I love being able to turn my own wrench.. Yes, there are issues (#MT), wants (#towingcpacity), and dreams (#NAv8), but man...I have not had a vehicle i have felt a more visceral connection. I love my JT. Cheers to us, and those like us.

Agreed, every time I get in and drive my JT, it lifts my mood, even during times when other things in life are wearing or weighing me down (and there's been no shortage of those during the time since I bought the JT (terminal illness/loss of a parent, crazy work workload, and the general whirlpool o'crap that has been 2020-21). This seems hokey. But the fact that I own and am driving around in, as a daily driver, a 2020 vehicle with a manual transmission, solid axles, manual transfer case, rugged, nimble (for a truck), useful vehicle, with great ground clearance, just makes me grin. It is so many things that no other vehicle is, and it _isn't_ so many things that all other vehicles are.

I have a little commuter car I drive out to the jobsite, 40 minutes each way. It helps keep the miles off the new Gladiator. But man it's hard to walk by the Jeep every morning to get in that little thing.
By the time the last day of the week rolls around, I can't take it anymore.
My co-workers now call Fridays "Jeep Day". :CWL:

I'm the opposite. We've got a 'city car' in the garage that has barely moved since we got the truck. I take the Gladiator every chance I get.

Took the freedom panels off today. It makes me smile every time.

I wonder if we are little kids that never grew up. I always get little kids telling me they like my truck. My wife laughs because I have the same taste in cars as toddlers. But she loves it too.

Well stated. First time jeep guy here and part of me says this is impractical. Should have stuck with the F150s. The other part of me says nahhh, this is fun. I'll take that

Long time Jeep owner, and I love my JT. However I do have a full size truck if need the extra capacity(haling gravel). That said we have two other vehicles and the JT is driven 99%.
