So I’ve had doors not lined good. Weird paint spots. Air hissing in cabin. Whine in reverse I never had In my 2020. Hard shifting trans especially into 3rd usually.

Now today I finally engaged 4H for the first time and disconnected sway bar. On a long long gravel trail when turning around turns my truck would almost make a squeaking or something sound I think maybe from the rear. Only noticed this today when using 4wd for the first time since I got it. 900 miles ago.

I don’t recall my other truck making such a noise. Nor any of these things. Have I just got one that’s gonna eventually cause me some major issues?

Oh also at one point we stopped today and I left it running and got out with my key fob in my pocket. Of course I got the message about it leaving but after we got going again and I looked I happened to notice both blind spot lights were solid and staying on while driving. I stopped and turned off the truck to get them to go off.

I’m not having good feelings within the 900 miles of this one. My 2020 is pretty much flawless with anything in 33k miles.
900 miles,… still too early to worry, things need to break-in, loosen up and work themselves out. If you haven’t yet, grab yourself the torque bar and check/retorque all your suspension nuts and bolts to spec. If you aren’t able, ask your dealership to do it. First thing I did was checked all mine when I got it home and 90% of them were loose.

I’m also an advocate for changing out all the break-in fluids and now is the time. If it was me, I’d go one step further and send a sample of oil from all components that have oil, to the lab and start a file on everything for your records, but like I said, that’s just me.

Transmission hard shifting,..bring that up with the dealership. It’s easy to check the oil level in it but if you can’t, ask the dealership to check it and do a quick relearn.

When it was hard shifting, was it in 4H with Off Road + engaged? That will change the shift points and make them shift quicker.

My '24 whines in reverse, but only if I go over about 5mph in reverse. My friend has a long, narrow driveway, and I have to back out when I go there. It whines.

Mine were not - but.......... I check and I make a paint pen or marker mark on them to more easily track things.

I did find the steering box to frame bolts were a bit loose on my 2020 after they replaced the box for that TSB. I got almost a quarter turn as I recall. That's quite a bit.

My 2021 JL whines a bit in reverse.
Look back a few years here about "ghosts in the Jeep", that sort of thing. Most of us report a slight whine noise while in reverse with an automatic. It's more of an electronic sound than a gear sound at times. Thus "the ghost in the Jeep" thing.

My '24 whines in reverse, but only if I go over about 5mph in reverse. My friend has a long, narrow driveway, and I have to back out when I go there. It whines.
My 25 isn't quite as loud in that respect as my 20 and 22 were, but it's still there if you listen (when wife isn't in the thing, I have the radio up so don't notice it most of the time)

There are thrust washers and thrust bearings in automatics - I wonder if part of it is the gears are now forced against a different "stop" so are a bit louder.
It's not a concern in the grand scheme of things anyway.

2024 Mojave here…. 6,000 miles. Yup…an obvious whine in reverse.
Haven’t had any obvious issues with anything else (Knock on wood).

If this was your first time using 4WD, it could just be the mechanicals are ‘freeing up’ and need more movement. Same reason why you should use your 4WD modes periodically to keep things lubricated & freed up.

Get some more time on the 4WD modes…..including 4lo. Get things moving….
You might find they just need a little movement. Kinda like my old bones & joints.
If you don’t use it, you lose it. 😉

Keep an eye on things……
Could be. It was the first time. I just didn’t remember any noise at all from first time with the previous truck. This one’s just “different” I guess. Haha.

Someone asked if hard shift were in 4wd. No just regular 2wd. Mainly light throttle usually it seems

I suspect it's the paint. That color just wakes up the demons in things and it's a curse on the truck. you should have gone for a safer, more sane, black or white.

Maybe....as long is it is small things and nothing major. I prefer to try to fix things myself first before i ever take it to the dealer. Warranty or not. I just dont trust many of them.

With that said, I know you have a 25. On your dash top there is a strip that sits on top with sewing in it. Is yours pretty solid or can you wiggle it back and forth easily? I touched mine the other day and noticed how easy it is to wiggle back and forth and almost pop off from the dash. That that was pretty cheaply attached.

Mine is pretty solid. I was messing around attaching the phone mount and such and my wife is always fiddling with the ducks, making sure they are lined up and facing properly - she'd notice anything amiss.
