So I’ve had doors not lined good. Weird paint spots. Air hissing in cabin. Whine in reverse I never had In my 2020. Hard shifting trans especially into 3rd usually.

Now today I finally engaged 4H for the first time and disconnected sway bar. On a long long gravel trail when turning around turns my truck would almost make a squeaking or something sound I think maybe from the rear. Only noticed this today when using 4wd for the first time since I got it. 900 miles ago.

I don’t recall my other truck making such a noise. Nor any of these things. Have I just got one that’s gonna eventually cause me some major issues?

Oh also at one point we stopped today and I left it running and got out with my key fob in my pocket. Of course I got the message about it leaving but after we got going again and I looked I happened to notice both blind spot lights were solid and staying on while driving. I stopped and turned off the truck to get them to go off.

I’m not having good feelings within the 900 miles of this one. My 2020 is pretty much flawless with anything in 33k miles.

Sounds like a trip to the dealership.

I agree that the 2020 FCA Jeeps were much better built, but even my 2020 had some initial issues and has been fine since. Hopefully yours is the same.

Once again, the whine sound in reverse is normal…

My 2024 makes a sound in reverse similar to older manuals- almost like the whine of a straight cut gear. Done it since new, close to 7k on it now and it hasn't broke yet. haha

Yeah I haven’t really worried about that one anymore.

What about y’all’s 4H on gravel / dirt turning. Any noises there?

Mine has a hard shift into 3rd as well..Mitigated by giving it more throttle.

Yeah it does seem to be when going very light throttle.

I think the third gear thing is a software issue. My ‘24 wrangler Rubicon does it as does my ‘25 Gladiator. Build quality seems much better than the ‘2020 Launch Edition and Mojave that I had before!

Guess I've not put it in 4H for that sort of use. Suppose I could, but these take washboards, loose gravel and whatever fine.
Maybe our gravel roads and dirt roads are better?
No harsh shifting on any of the 3 I've had.

Wasn’t really talking about it shifting hard in 4wd. I was talking about the whiney squeak noise while turning in 4H on some turns.

Do you have CV axles or u-joints? (SelecTrac or not?)
I've not had mine many any noises, either configuration and I cranked them hard here in my back shop area since it's very loose gravel on a hill - I have used 4H to prevent tossing rocks all over the place.

Also make sure there's not a rock between the shield and rotor or something simple.

2024 Mojave here…. 6,000 miles. Yup…an obvious whine in reverse.
Haven’t had any obvious issues with anything else (Knock on wood).

If this was your first time using 4WD, it could just be the mechanicals are ‘freeing up’ and need more movement. Same reason why you should use your 4WD modes periodically to keep things lubricated & freed up.

Get some more time on the 4WD modes…..including 4lo. Get things moving….
You might find they just need a little movement. Kinda like my old bones & joints.
If you don’t use it, you lose it. 😉

Keep an eye on things……

Only issue I ever had with my LE was leaking back window. That was a huge pain in the ass because they wouldn’t work on it with out me removing the fabric fours rack.
My 22 hasn’t had any issues and just hit 31k. Got new gears this week and the reverse whine is more noticeable but not concerning.
