900 miles,… still too early to worry, things need to break-in, loosen up and work themselves out. If you haven’t yet, grab yourself the torque bar and check/retorque all your suspension nuts and bolts to spec. If you aren’t able, ask your dealership to do it. First thing I did was checked all mine when I got it home and 90% of them were loose. So I’ve had doors not lined good. Weird paint spots. Air hissing in cabin. Whine in reverse I never had In my 2020. Hard shifting trans especially into 3rd usually.
Now today I finally engaged 4H for the first time and disconnected sway bar. On a long long gravel trail when turning around turns my truck would almost make a squeaking or something sound I think maybe from the rear. Only noticed this today when using 4wd for the first time since I got it. 900 miles ago.
I don’t recall my other truck making such a noise. Nor any of these things. Have I just got one that’s gonna eventually cause me some major issues?
Oh also at one point we stopped today and I left it running and got out with my key fob in my pocket. Of course I got the message about it leaving but after we got going again and I looked I happened to notice both blind spot lights were solid and staying on while driving. I stopped and turned off the truck to get them to go off.
I’m not having good feelings within the 900 miles of this one. My 2020 is pretty much flawless with anything in 33k miles.
I’m also an advocate for changing out all the break-in fluids and now is the time. If it was me, I’d go one step further and send a sample of oil from all components that have oil, to the lab and start a file on everything for your records, but like I said, that’s just me.
Transmission hard shifting,..bring that up with the dealership. It’s easy to check the oil level in it but if you can’t, ask the dealership to check it and do a quick relearn.
When it was hard shifting, was it in 4H with Off Road + engaged? That will change the shift points and make them shift quicker.
