We go from 70s during the day to 40s at night... it'll kill ya.

What is the temp where you are now?

High of 66 today. I say 'ask in July' because that's when we hit our highs, generally. Last year we broke records for the # of days over 115 (14 of'em), and most days over 110 (53 of those). Every few summers we get a few days in the low 120s, which in turn translates into vehicle gauges showing 130-plus.

In minnesota we track number of days above 90 (typically not more than 20...) and in the cold spells we track days with a high temp below 0!

Its been -1 consistently for almost 2 weeks here in illinois. We will get a warm up of 23 degrees in a couple days. I'm hoping to finally be able to wash my truck!

Dude - you have the dubious honor of being in the lead... Anyway - how does the JT like the cold? Anything interesting to report? My old landrover LCDs (temp and HVAC gauges) would not work below -30F, and I once could not start up after an overnight of -37F.
