What is the procedure for adjusting the steering wheel? Mine is a bit off to right after removing the lift. I am not a mechanic so be genial.

Drag link bar. Loosen pinch bolt, turn big nut.

Tie rod bar is lowest, goes wheel to wheel and level. Drag link is next bar up on passenger side, goes up diagonally to driver side. Driver side is where the pinch bolt and adjustment are.
You will have to adjust a few times, after first adjustment and then a drive you will see where it settles.

Oh, if you have a front skid under bumper, it will be hard to get to this.

All fixed, got to be one of the easiest adjustments on these beast. I am a visual person and was able to find a good video on YouTube that was designed for the complete idiot.

Did your light go off and how many run cycles did it take? I just adjusted mine this weekend. Might share the video for others.

I'm thinking you aren't talking about the same procedure. Centering the steering wheel is purely a mechanical thing, with no lights, wire, computers, or run cycles involved.

That's the procedure. I was talking about the stability control light. I adjusted mine one more time today and after driving it to town and back I noticed the light is out.

Didn't realize this could throw a code. I guess we are all doing the same thing, as I adjusted mine last night. It has been off center for many months, since an inept dealer did the TSB for my steering gear box. I would rather deal with it myself to avoid spending any more than 10 seconds at a dealer.
