Was parked on an incline today and after about 30 minutes found a little puddle of oil on the ground leaking from whatever this is on the passenger side? Leak is coming from up inside this and kind of an orange colored oil. Does not appear to happen when on flat ground (yet)

Thanks!

Rear body mount bolt and cup.

Do you have kids and did they spill orange drink in the back seat?

Hahaha...no kids or spilt drinks. 160 total miles on my new Gladiator. Is this a hydraulic mount that maybe sprung a leak? Or is there something above it that could be leaking into it?

It may be coming from the catalytic converter? There is a drain hole that is in the rear of it to allow moisture to drain out. Mine did that and freaked me out. Could be just a little rust colored water.

No, it's a solid body mount. The bolt is about 10" long, there is a captured nut up top, there is a retainer clip to keep the bolt from falling out if it becomes loose. It holds the back corner of the cab to the frame. Anything in there is getting there from another source.

There is also nothing liquid filled in the back corner of the cab.

Cats are mounted up front, behind the inner fender liner, back end of engine. Exhaust runs down driver side.

I believe it is 2 resonators and 1 muffler. Plus the 2 cats, 1 each side, up front.
Expensive, over redundant exhaust system.

Makes sense, ok so it may be coming from the resonator or what ever the hell the round silver looking thing in front of the muffler looking thing. ????

The fluid was oily, did not evaporate like water...

Well this is getting complicated. Was hoping it was an easily identifiable issue. Looks like a trip to the dealership is indicated...

Maybe a leaking shock or brake line then?

Do you actually see anything wet under the truck? I don’t see any evidence of something looking like it’s leaking from the pics. But I did only look at the picture on on my phone.

I would be inclined to wipe it clean and see if anything re-appears. Just to rule out something like a stray grease blob from the factory, or something that splashed up from the road.

Yes, there were actually droplets up inside on the flat black surfaces that were dripping down. I wipes them off prior to taking this picture, but there was a fair amount of oil for such a short period of time. In the one picture, you can slightly see some of the oil droplets around the edge.
