Jeep gladiator folks help with my build

I’m looking at a 35/12.50/17 mt
A hardrock 17/8.5 wheel with plus 10
Offset made by quadratec

and I’m wanting to run a budget boost. Teraflex 1.5-2 inch

I’m not wanting my tire n wheel outside of the fenders. I’m thinking this combo would be flush with the fender

I’m also debating between the 456 or the 488 gears. This Jeep is a texas trail addition gladiator
I’ve been quoted 1550 installed. Parts n labor so I’m going for it

does this tire and wheelcombo sound ok for what I’m wanting

So as of now I am leaning towards the hardrock wheels and 456 gear

A +10 offset will move the wheel towards the outside of the vehicle. While you want this to accommodate a wider tire, the tire will also stick out past the fender.

Only if the wheel is the same width.

Don't shop offset, shop backspacing. Backspacing is the only thing that matters in the end for rubbing.

While this is true when it comes to aftermarket jeep wheels a +10 offset is actually more tucked then most. There are a couple that are +25, but the vast majority are 0 or well into the negative's.

@Gremlinsteve Those wheels arent going to be bad for what your looking for, but if you really wanna keep the tires in then look at the tires themselves. Look for a 11.50 or even the Klever 35/10.50r17's to keep them tucked.

I had the Quadratec Hardrock wheels in satin black on my JT Rubicon which I recently traded. I was running 315/70/17 Toyos and the tires poked just a tad bit out from under the fenders. I was happy with the set up. I included some pics for reference. This was on the stock Rubicon suspension with the Daystar 1.5" front leveling kit and the 0.75" rear spacer.

Those are the 35x10.5r17 Kenda Klevers on a sport s max tow with the wide axles, stock wheels. I too didn't want them poking past the fenders and am quite happy how it sits.

Try this wheel offset calculator. It will give you most, if not all the info you're looking for. Its really nice for trying out different scenarios you may be considering.

I didn’t consider he’s looking at an inch wider wheel. The center of the wheel will still shift outward, but the difference won’t be as much.
