I was just about to make a comment on the wheel size too, before seeing your edit.
20" to 24" is not good for most Jeep owners. Some may like it though.

Yeah maybe depending how they do, they’ll make more sizes if people are interested. I think they look pretty aggressive.

17's are coming. They are in the wild right now on a few select vehicles. I will be running 37x17's once they are available.

I'd buy them if they made it in a 17" looks nice.

Anybody can drive fast on flat dirt roads. Let see them in snow and on a real trail. Granted I would be using them as an overlanding tire. So hard fire roads/trails.

Any chance of a 35X11.50X17 C rated....don't need a D or E rated tire. Then I'd be sold for sure.

How does it differ from the Ridge Grappler? Tread pattern looks very similar with the only variable being the side wall. Or is there more to it than that?

EDIT: Never mind. I see it's listed as an AT tire vs. a hybrid like the Grappler in the full product lineup.

The Nitto website does not show that size. Is it new?

Yeah, it probably competes more with their Terra Grappler G2. I just ordered new tires yesterday and was between the Terra Grappler G2's and the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. Ended up going for the Falkens because they're supposed to handle snow better.

Now if they made either the Ridge or Recon Grappler in a 40" for 17in wheels... love my Ridge G's.

From Nitto's website "ratings" chart the Recon's seem to only offer better RIDE COMFORT? The only way I'd make the switch is if the Recon's had the snow flake rating. I would prefer a better snow tire for out here in CO. The Ridge G's are already plenty quiet enough and provide a nice ride in the Load C rating.

I have a little over 14K on mine and have nothing but good to say about them. I have been in pretty much all grip situations except for deep snow (over a foot) and deep mud.

Thank you for posting your personal results on the Nitto Recon Grapplers, it sounds like they are working well for you.
