My experience on 37 is that you'll get D8 on flat surfaces and down hill but any slight grade and it will downshift quickly.
I see. Yeah, i’m heading up BigBear in 2 weeks and will take some notes along the way. Thx

I actually put a lot of research into this, and am getting regeared tomorrow at 4.56 ...errr... 4.63 now. Nitro apparently doesn't do 4.56 (recent development) and now does 4.63. After initial concern, 4.63 is a minor difference from 4.56, and in the right direction for what I'm looking at. Many will swear I should do 4.88, but I want to maintain some semblance of MPG on the highway, and feel 4.88 would make first gear just too low for manual.
I real curious how this turns out because I'm considering a regear to 4.56 gears as well. Even though others swear by the 4.88's I feel like the 4.56 gears would be better suited and held the better mpg's. I could be wrong but based on me still getting 17+ around town and Hwy And about 18.5 on trips 3hrs or longer, I think with 4.56 gears I could see close to a 1.5 to 2 mpg gain if I leave my jeep sitting exactly the way it sits.

@Jeep-of-Eli Awesome Mojave! A little off topic, I do have the same bumper you have on mine. My fog light mounts seem to be welded crooked. Is this true with yours?

Thanks! Well, I did not notice as my factory fog lights mounted over without any issue. At this point, i have not check the alignment of them yet if they’re firing evenly ?? and it’s been there for over 2yrs now.?

Is it preventing you from installing your lights? My light/bull bar mounting screw is welded crookedly and it was a struggle to mount them flush; I have to bend the them a bit. Definitely the build quality is not that good. ☹

I love the bumper it self, seems to be very strong. Yes, my fog lights mounted fine they are just crooked so it throws the light pattern off..... other motorist flash me coming down the road. Can't use my fogs unless I'm the only one on the road, a real bummer.

Oh man. Yeah I love bumper as well for its styling and my type of wheeling. I have used my fog light plenty of times and so far no response to other drivers. ???

What is the width of that wheel. I tried to install 35x 11.50 my daughters wrangler that had fuel wheels with 10.5 width. Disable said to stretch out making it look like a tuner car so we went back to 12.5 I believe my black rhinos are 9.5 and would like to run that exact tire you’re running

Whats your opinion of the tires now that you've driven on the tires for a few months? I'm going between the Recon or Wildpeaks. Need to get the Kenda Klever off. Alignment is good but the Kendas have worn unevenly.

So far so good. I really like it. it’s quiet compared to the factory wildpeak MT’s. I have taken it on deep sand, gravel roads, and sharp rocks and it flawless IMO. When aired down to 18 psi, it’s pretty stiff compared to my old MT’s which makes turning more responsive. The only cons is it’s not as aggressive looking.

Appreciate the reply! Did you buy a 37" spare? If so, did you have any issues getting it to fit under the truck?

Yes I did. I got the KO2 37x12.5x17 116S Load C as this is the lightest 37s that I could find, weighing in at 67lbs, and it fits with the stock rear track bar giving it about 3/4” clearance gap. Plus it was on sale at Walmart for $329.

Love this thread! Got a 21 Mojave I'm trying not to lift but want to go as big as possible so was thinking about 37x11.5 and I love the nittos. How do you feel about these 2 years later?

Still love it. I have 19k miles on the tires and so far so good. it’s still fairly quiet; just a little hum above 70mph. I have taken it on mostly dirt, sand, and muds; hardly any rocks. As those are my type of wheelin’. Yeah, I drove & wheeled it for 2-3 months without a lift and it was fine. The 2” lift made it look right in my eyes though.

This is my most recent pix from KOH this year
