Zroadz

Anyone have a zroadz rack that they would like to post up a review? I like the rear gate and the fact it comes with lights. Not sure on the quality or versatility. Also looks like it could be a rattle trap.

A couple questions, I assume you are still happy with it?
Are there any excessive rattling noises from the rack?
Have you removed the hardtop/soft top And do you have and photos?
How did you end up running the wires and switch the lights?
Finish holding up?

I am still happy with it and the finish is holding up great. The only problem I've had since installing it is that the doors can be a little hard to open and close and they squeak a bit when they do. I suspect the hinges are a little out of alignment and I could probably fix this by loosening and re-tightening a few bolts, but it hasn't bothered me enough yet.

I don't think there are any rattling noises from the rack itself, but it's hard to say with all the other stuff I have rattling around back there.

I have not removed the hard top since installing the rack and since I put a Frontrunner rack on top, it might be difficult to do.

I have the factory aux switches so used one of those to control the lights. I originally thought I'd switch each side separately, but didn't get around to it and haven't really had a need to only turn only one side on. They are pretty bright, though, so maybe someday...

I've had the rack for almost a year now, and if I were about to buy a rack now, I'd get the same one. However, that's mostly because it's the only one I know of that has the side doors. While you can't mount as much stuff on them as some other racks, it's very nice to be able to get access to the bed from the side, or in my case, the cabinets that I've built specifically for those doors.
