Front bumper change?

Just started noticing what looks like a change to the front bumper on some advertising. Looks like the ends of the front bumpers are rising up to almost meet the front fenders. Anyone else seeing this?

Maybe you saw the Sport base model fenders. They have a filler trim that fills the gap between the front bumper and fender.

The base model JLU has them too.

My bumper on mine was like that before I switched it. The sport models are like that. Mines a 2020

Is this what you are seeing? 8f so, it was standard on 2020 Sport models. Mine is 20 Sport S.

In the JL forum those bumper trim pieces that fill the gap between the bumper and fender were referred to as euro trim. I don’t think it’s limited to sport bumpers because other export model JL trims got that filler too. I could be wrong.

It's basically for aerodynamics. The ones without it get less gas mileage. Those prevent air from getting inside the fenders and cause lag. I've noticed ones without them get 1-2 mpgs less. I know most of the Max Tow options came with them from what I can tell to offer more mpgs while towing.
