Fender question...are rubicon fenders wider?

are the fenders for the rubicon or max toe models wider than sport/overland fenders? I believe they are taller but are they any wider?

Max tow have the added flare on the edge, Rubicon are taller.

I measure about 1" Wider with our JL Rubicon compared to our JT Overland front fenders. I notice the difference looking out the windshield also.

I think I get it now. Do you know then, If I buy the factory fender flares from mopar, they should be wider than the oem overland ones, correct? My research seems to indicate that but Im not sure by how much.
