Just wondering. Front pieces of hardtop. Can just the driver's side of the hardtop be removed and run it that way? Curious as to road/wind/buffering noise. Pros/Cons

If both driver and passenger Front are removed... road/wind/buffering noise?

Would like to get the Sunrider that just covers the front seat, but seems a bit pricey.

I got my 2021 Gladiator with the hardtop added as an extra and really think the soft top should have been included since the added hardtop was an upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. You can remove just the driver side. It doesn't cause any problems and there's no buffeting. There will be more wind noise (obviously). Just make sure the other side is secure. Same thing goes for removal of both. No buffeting, just some additional wind noise (not buffeting, just normal convertible sound). Besides taking the top all the way off, my favorite way to cruise is with the panels removed and the sliding glass open.

Be careful taking off the freedom panels. This will let in more wind and noise which can be startling for some. Maybe wear ear protection the first time you try it and gradually ease into taking them off. You will also be exposed more to harmful UV rays and of course any airborne germs such as covid. Be sure to wear a mask and make sure you get your shots just to he safe.

And let's not forget the wasps/bees and flying debris! I thought you were serious for like half a second. Well played.

When I have my freedom panels off, I open the rear sliding window to allow better airflow.
