The local line-x guy would not do my fenders, because he said it'll only stick to that material for a year at most.l, even with professional prep. He had a jk, and said he's done his a few times as it starts to peel, but he would do it on a customer vehicle.
I had my JKU scorpion lined by a guy and they were like that for almost 4 yrs. I switched because I got a free set of steel fenders and put those on and went back to a plan stock set right before I sold it because the dealership said it would be easier to sell with the stock plan ones on it. I liked how they looked. I had my hinges done as well. Both lasted.

That's what it looked like, man wish I would of kept it.

I would absolutely stay away from DV8 I have seen many many people complaining about holes not lining up for their bumpers, fenders and even rock rails. Then the CS apparently has been terrible.

Fab Fours fenders honestly look like dogshit. and has minimal to no functionality barring the added height to them.

If you want a classic look, Poison Spyder, JCR or Metalcloak. I went with MC. I know some people worry about fucking up the sheet metal with steel fenders (like @j.o.y.ride said earlier) but I can tell you that the front MC fenders are bolted to mounts that make it strong as hell. I have ran into a tree going 30ish mph (dont ask how LOL) and slammed my fender into it with NO damage to the vehicle or fender, AND I have flipped my JK onto the fenders three times too many with NO damage to anything besides the roll bar.

I highly highly suggest MC fenders for looks, durability, sturdiness and eveything else you can think of. I can't find a single fender that is better than them in any category, minus weight savings by going with another plastic (bushmaster) or aluminum (Poison Spyder).

I will never run any other fender out there with the shit I have done to mine and seen others done to theirs.

Whatever you decide to buy, please ensure they cover the tires. Nothing is more infuriating than to be behind a debris slinger. Yeah, I am one of THOSE folks.

I have never had a bad experience with DV8 and I'm Running their rear bumper on my JT absolutely love it. There customer service is Top Notch as well from my experience. A few years back, like 12 or 13 years ago they had fitment issues on some fenders and maybe some bumpers but I have not seen or heard anything recently about any of that. They have corrected most of that from what I gather and they gave me the best price on my rear bumper. Personally their fenders are one I'm considering if I go steel full replacement. I've watched a few install videos on them and they seem to look good and line up just fine. Everyone has their opinion on what they like but you can't always make a decision based on way old info.

Luckily I'm not making a decision based on old info. I made my decision based on my experience with MC in the past, current issues I see on the FB gladiator group regarding DV8, and people in my jeep club that have current issues with new DV8 products.

I'm not knocking MC products because I know it's good stuff but I know plenty of people running DV8 stuff on their jeeps and I ran the stuff on my old JKU. I'm not trying to argue about it either. I don't plan on beating the JT up like I did the JKU, these fenders will be more for looks than function. I had the DV8 fenders on my JKU and they did great, I never turned it over on them but I got against a few trees and rocks with them and they never damaged anything. I don't plan on doing the JT like that though, I'm looking for something else currently to be a dedicated trail rig.

Not saying you're knocking MC. All I am saying is I made an informed opinion regarding the quality of DV8 products and I am giving that info out. I am always happy to hear people having good experiences with anything they buy for their jeep. If people have issues with anything, whether aftermarket or stock, the frustration they get will make them question getting a Jeep in the first place. That is not something I like to see happening.

It is a fantastic community and I want it to grow. Giving out bits of caution is, in my eyes, wanted.

I haven't seen any JT fenders from Poison Spyder. Not on their site last I checked.
Unsure if they have them out yet or not, clearly not if you looked and nothing is listed lol. However I do know they make quality products.

Poison Spyder had it in development when the JL platform came out but not sure what happened. They even had photos at an event.
