I'd be curious to know the specs of your build. Seems like base models seem to get delayed a lot more whereas Rubicons and Mojaves get built right away.

It seems like the people with gorilla glass and one or both of the safety groups that seem to be getting the biggest delays

In my experience, the dealer has had access to more detailed updates than Jeep Chat. Has your dealer offered to look into it?

I'd be frustrated if I didn't get a single update in 9 weeks...

I ordered on July 5 and had a build date originally scheduled for 8/8. That date came and went. Today the dealer updated me saying a new build date is scheduled for 9/13.

I'm also in same boat. I ordered mine on 6/26 and still gathering parts. Jeep Chat esculated mine as well and only said they are gathering parts but a couple of weeks ago said my estimated delivery date was 10/5. Not sure why some people who ordered theirs in July and Aug already have build dates. I'm not even getting a build date and going on 8 weeks too. Glad you got a build date

I ordered a Jeep Sport S on 6/26 and going on 8 weeks with still gathering parts as well. I did order the safety package but not the advance safety one. I didn't ordered the gorilla glass .

I ordered on 6/19. Tomorrow will be 9 weeks without a single update. I requested escalation last week and still hadn’t received a single update. Today I was told by an extended family member that works at the Jeep plant in Toledo that the chip shortage might push my build out of the calendar year.

I don’t think he’s in a position to know much more than anyone else here. But could this be a possibility?

I ordered my Mojave on July 20th and received word on Wednesday that it is in the shipping stage. Reading several of the build threads, I see a pattern on a couple things. First, sport models seem to have the longest build process. Secondly, people who order from smaller dealers that don’t work with large volume also have extended wait times. Just my perspective, though.

Got my window sticker last night by changing the cryptostickers web url to jeep instead of chrysler. Then this morning I got the email from cryptostickers that the window sticker was found.

So I wonder how to find it in the shipping stage? How long to dealer? Ordered from Gupton.

The dealer could give more accurate information on what part the vehicle is in on the delivery stage. This is what I got from Jeep Chat yesterday:

From Jeep Chat: I can see your order is in the shipping stage! It will remain in this stage until it arrives at your dealership. We have a delivery ETA of 08/21/2021 - 08/30/2021!

Just to add my 0.02, my build was completed 7/29 according to my window sticker (which I received on 7/31). As of today (8/20) it has still not been delivered. My guy at the dealership has been saying since August 5th he expects it "any day now", and it's just been sitting at the local railyard waiting for a truck.... This whole process sucks, wish we weren't at the mercy of the shipping companies with basically no updates. I am waiting here in Central Texas (read: Austin), so your mileage will certainly vary.

Similar situation here. Ordered a Willys 6/21, build complete as of 8/2. It’s just been sitting in Toledo since. Dealer delivery was between 8/14-8/27 now when I chat with jeep they say dealer delivery is 8/21-9/4. The other interesting part to this is on 6/19 I actually ordered a different Willys, same color just a few different features, and that build has been delivered to the dealer as of last week….
