Gladiator noise when accelerating

Does anyone experience a noise when accelerating? Started at 3800 miles, almost sounds like the engine is "farting". Like the kind of noise babies make when they put their mouths on their arm and blow. Can't hear it with the windows down. Ac has nothing to do with it, radio on or off has no effect. Everything looks tight with the heat shielding. Bringing it to the dealer tomorrow, just hoping someone had some insight.

Not yet, had to postpone the appointment. Dropped it by the dealer today so they can look at it tomorrow. Will update.

Update* the dealer ordered a part that was a service bulletin suggestion. Some tabs on the back of the mirror? Strange. They'll install it in a week or two then of it works I'll report back with part numbers and such. As of now, still sounds like baby farts when windows are closed and I step on the gas.

So, tab behind the mirror didn't fix anything. My dealership is getting permission to replace the driver side catalytic converter. I think they're onto something this time because it definitely sounds like it's coming from that vicinity.
I'll keep updating the post as it unfolds.

Does it almost sound like a plastic on metal rattle sorta metallic but not like rod knock metallic? It sounds like it's under the driver side area.

From my experience holes in the exhaust are very common in chrysler vehicles. Hopefully the cat fixes it

Yes, gets louder when I step on the gas too. I thought it was a loose heat shield on the exhaust somewhere. But everything is tight.

That's what mine sounds like, but I checked all the heat Shields. It happens at higher rpm on a flat surface too. So I don't think it's spark knock. Something is loose and only vibrates certain times that can't be consistently replicated and it's driving me nuts. Hopefully you find the fix too.

My noise is very consistent, never goes away. There everytime I accelerate past 2k rpm. Dealer is replacing the resonator tomorrow? We'll see....

Not yet, they sent the wrong one and we had to order again. Install scheduled for Wednesday now. ?

SOOOO it continues. Wasn't the resonator....Jeep engineering will be getting into the brainstorming now. 4000 miles with baby fart noise coming from the dash. Fun.

Well, the noise has mysteriously disappeared. About a month after having the resonator replaced it's gone. So weird...
I'll post if I ever hear anything from Jeep Engineering.
