Private Cash Bonus Offer - A Bad April Fools Joke in September?

Just received a private cash private cash bonus offer from Jeep which offers $3,000 off the purchase of a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon. So went to my local CJD dealer this morning to look at a new 2021 Rubicon Gladiator. After giving them the offer from Jeep it took them about 10-15 minutes of checking, they advised that in reality there isn't any additional private bonus cash at all. In fact it is $0. Yes, the offer flyer in (2) locations notes $3,000 total bonus cash towards a Gladiator Rubicon. The dealer advised that if I read the fine print it actually exempts the Rubicon from the offer so that is why its $0. Has this happened to anyone else? Perhaps a printing screw up in the fine print? I do not know if they ran the redemption code. I presumed they did as I was an interested buyer for a $60k Rubicon. Once they told me it was $0 I left. Wow!!!!!

Turns out that it is $0 on a Rubicon Gladiator despite the offer indicating its $3,000.

This is important. If they didn't run the code for your individual offer, how would they know anything? Assuming they ran it is not a good idea. Check that they did.

I would interpret it as 2 separate offers of $1,500 each. Again, a critical distinction considering they have different eligibility and delivery requirements. You may qualify for all $3,000, you may only qualify for $1,500. It all depends on the situation you're trying to apply it to.
