bed rail on National Back Order.
You referring to the plastic bed rail caps right? If so wonder what the time frame is looking like. I was thinking about ordering some just so I can rip off my current ones without worry about breaking the clips when installing ships under them upon ordering my Diamondback tonneau cover eventually. Looks like I may have to just take my time and save my current ones.

Ouch, what hit it?
Sadly, self inflicted.

Long story short.

Hauling mattress.

Notice loose strap.

At stop light, hop out to fix.

Woman behind goes nutz.

Throw strap in bed, to pull in bank, to pacify.

Strap comes out, under tire.

Crunch.

Courtesy pays not.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I would have an absolute COW if that happened to my new truck! I'd be SOOO pissed off at myself...because it's alway me that causes some dumb thing that could have been avoided.

The pic without damage is after you fixed it or what? If so why weren't the small scratches painted too? If before the damage, why had you removed the plastic rail topper?

I was surprisingly calm afterwards, as it was my own fault.

Pissed yes, but what to do?

After, no scratches, may be a camera fault.

In my youth, a bunch of jumping around, throwing a few things and cursing. Now? Just fuming. Took me a long time to realize all the dramatics is just immaturity. I still FEEL like doing it, now I just know it changes nothing.

I bought a king mattress yesterday. Tied it down and drove home. 55mph and slept better last night than in last 10+ years.
X-pattern over the mattress and then one right in the middle going from left side to right side.

Zzzzzzzz……Zzzzz…….
