weird. Can you try the torch / heat trick in those areas to see? At that point, I dont see that it could hurt.

I'd like to but the guy who's doing the bedliner said he could cover it up at this point and I don't want to do anymore damage. That back one is bad though.

@obrianmcc I have not parked anywhere that would of caused reflection like your speaking of but I have saw that happen. It gets parked in the same spot at my house as my JKU did and at work in the same spot. Nothing reflective around that could of done it.

Is it possible Back to Black caused damage? My '20 fenders certainly don't look like that. Odd.

No, I used Back to Black on my JKU and my buddy uses it on his JL and JT since the first month and his JL is older than my JT. He probably uses it more than I do. I also use the stuff on pretty much anything that's plastic and black on all my other cars as well as the black on the tail light housing. I've never seen or heard of it doing anything like this.

I had a 2016 Wrangler with badly faded plastic fenders. It was a Hawaiian vehicle so the sun beat the hell out of it. I used this Rustoleum product and it worked miracles on them. Brought them back to new.

I ceramic coat all trim on all of our vehicles. It keeps trim looking better than new for 2+ years if the oily B2B/Armor All/VRP (love chemical guys btw, Hybrid V07 was my jam pre-ceramic) is removed first.

Upon delivery, I coated all my trim. I missed the sides of my nozzles. Have a gander, you can see at 5k miles, untreated they look 10 years old yet my kept in our carport or garage with a build date of June this year. This isn't dirt, the white marble is the grain in the plastic exposed entirely from just limited exposure to the sun.

I won't push specific products etc. but I will say any reputable serum (spray is moderately better than B2B but still not worth the time or cost at all) which is applicator based will do, nothing that can be bought at a big box auto/department store.

Sad thing is no Line-X dealer will touch them in my area. I know it want stay on plastic forever but it should be good for 2 or 2 years if done right. Every Line-X dealer I called said they want touch fenders or grills anymore.

Dropping it off Sunday night at the body shop that's going to do the Bedlining on mine. Will have a texture similar to the picture. $200 if I removed them and took them to him or $250 for him to mask everything off and spray them. I'll let him mask them off. I'll post pictures once it's done and keep everyone posted about durability. If it last for 2yrs or more then I'll consider it worth it.

I think so I don't think they change the material on anything when they paint it.
