Is this a stock height Rubi? I have the Sport S Ecodiesel and was looking at a 3" Rock crawler lift with 35x11.50x17.I also went with the Nitto Trail Grappers 35x11.5xr17...love them thus far, great tire and within specs for factory rims.![]()

Just out of curiosity, what are you running for air pressureIs this a stock height Rubi? I have the Sport S Ecodiesel and was looking at a 3" Rock crawler lift with 35x11.50x17.
Thanks![]()
35x12.50 on stock wheels. Never had an issue and I run them at 15psi when offroad. Ridge Grapplers. I run them at 32psi on the street per Nitto's recommendation and they are great.![]()
I don’t think anyone is saying you can’t do it, and that many haven’t done it.
The FACT is no tire manufacturer that makes a 315mm or 12.5” wide 35” or 37” tire lists it as being able to be mounted on a 7.5” wide rim. This is why some places will not mount them on stock rims due to liability and using the tire in a manner outside the manufacturer’s intended use parameters.
Discount Tire mounted my Nitto 35X12.50 Mud Grapplers on my Mojave wheels, no questions asked. Was talking to the folks at DIscount tire and they told me they won't mount the 35's on the stock Rubicon Rims. Say I need a wider rim. Guess I could always try to find someone to mount them and just buy the tires or stick with the 33's. Don't really want to go to new rims. Ah decisions decisions.
Well aware of that, as I have said multiple times it is incorrect, Discount tire does not make Nitto tires, this is from Nitto’s site for the 315/70/17 Ridge Grappler
