My experience seems contrary to most here. I picked up up my Glad in March and tire pressures from the dealer, via dash reading were all around 41. I never got a chance to reduce to factory recommend. However with the colds temps now, and time, I noticed yesterday that when going over highway bumps across the lane, at speed of course, I was now getting a shimmy for about 3-4 seconds in the front end. Hummm. I looked at the dash TPMS readings and the tires were now down to 35 cold. So I put 5 psi in each and today the shimmy is gone! Seems most here deflate their tires to reduce small shimmys that may have developed. Just passing this info on....

Sounds like the issue is covered up by the higher tire pressure. Might want to have the dealership check it out.

The tire pressure adjustment isn't to reduce shimmys, it's to improve steering feel. You have a different issue that you might want to investigate.

It depends on the tires. I have an Overland with the street tires. I keep them around 38psi cold. I don't have any shimmy at any pressure, so that might be an issue that needs looked at.
