My lease is through Chrysler Capital. IF I decide to keep mine long term, my plan is to call up Chrysler Capital and see if they'd finance the truck for me on a "buy". In theory, the paperwork and logistics of doing it would be easier since it's the same lender.

Why is the Corvette on their list twice?

Wow, so I got a great deal in San Diego, MSRP minus $500 Jeep cash! LOL

I knew about Gupton and others, I'd just never buy if I had to order and wait. I wanted the truck, it was on the lot, I bought it.

If they privately resell or negotiate with the buyout. If they just do the turn in as usual the dealer has all the smiles.

Nobody negotiates lease buyouts, whatever is in the contract is what you will pay. At least that's been my experience and I have bought a few vehicles when the lease was up.

I wondered about that when I saw the earlier today. A simple mistake, or is it that they actually used particular trim levels or models for the figures, and then left off that level of detail in the final list?

I wonder exactly what data they are using to calculate those figures. They have the Gladiator listed with a 'premium' of 26% and a "raised price" of 53,361. Of course, 53k is below the highest MSRP you could configure a Gladiator at, depending on trim level. I'm assuming they used some sort of 'average purchase price' type figure, but did they have an actual average MSRP for the underlying transactions, or did they pic some particular trim level and use that MSRP?

I got 1.99% financing from my Credit Union on my Gladiator. The dealership didn't even pretend they could come close to that rate. I would start there. I didn't even belong to the credit union before I applied for the loan.
We surprisingly got 1.99% for 84 from the dealership on a high altitude but only a 1k incentive.

Plenty of C8’s will be available once the Z06 lands at dealerships.

Not the people who leased it, they won’t notice a thing. The banks will be when the resale it!
If you lease, you can still realize the appreciation. It just takes a little bit of work. When I paid off my JKU, the residual value was $23K plus sales tax. I traded it in for $32K and received a sales tax offset of $32K against the cost of my Gladiator.

My wife sold her leased Rav4 hybrid back to the dealer she bought it from and they cut her a check for $4K on the spot. She had 6 months left on the lease. We both purchased our next cars outright because the banks are starting to put a lot more restrictions on what you can do with leased vehicles.

It depends on how many Z06's they'll actually produce. I would like to trade mine for a Z06 but it's probably going to be years before I get an allocation.

The Z06 is going to put many sports car makers on notice.
