I experienced death wobble in my old JK at about 40/50 and it felt like the hard top was going to be thrown off. The thought of that at 80 is terrifying.

Your video doesn't appear as severe as I experienced but there is no way I'd continue driving as you are, just think of the fatigue on every bush and component in the drive train. Other than the pointers from everyone else I'm afraid I haven't got anything else to offer. Perhaps a passionate non-dealer Jeep garage?

Makes sense. But no one can figure out what's wrong with it or they're just brushing me off.
4 months and no resolution? Jeep needs to send their engineers to your dealer and fix the truck or pay you back full price.

@JeepCares do you care?

" Perhaps a passionate non-dealer Jeep garage?"
Probably the most sane thing said yet. I'm FULLY confident my shop would be able to find the problem in short order.

I played with the air pressure today and moved it up from 36psi to 38psi. It mitigated the problem quite a bit. I only got the wobble 3 maybe 4x. I'm going to try 39psi tomorrow. I tried an independent shop down here as well...a very reputable one and they found nothing. I feel they brushed me off too because they said the car was aligned as well, when it clearly isn't. The steering wheel is cocked to the right a few degrees and the truck throws left instead of tracking straight. They recommended to go to the dealer[again] No one is going to find the damage unless they drive it at 60+ on the expressway and no mechanic has done that so they think i'm crazy. But the truck behaved great for 8k before the problem creeped up.

I went to a dealer down here who gave me a song and dance about changing the steering stabilizer. Said it would take a few days to get the part in. Calls me back, say's they have the part, then Told me they changed the part[test drove the truck] and got the it aligned. I looked under the truck and the original part is still there. All they did was change my oil, rotate my tires and loose my valve caps. I was lied to and had no Jeep for 4/5 days. I can't even get a loaner.

If @JeepCares would kindly look at the videos and get back to us before we kill ourselves and/or someone on the road!! There's no reason for this to be happening. Jeeps new and old, lifted and stock pass me like i'm stoped on the road. If I try to match their speed it's a dance with death..literally!! My truck was perfect for the first 8k miles, I could regularly cruise at 85mph-95mph with complete confidence in this machine. Now every time I see a n expansion joint on the road or some sort of uneven surface my heart starts to race and I have to look in the review and sides to make sure I'm clear in case I have to slow down to 45 to stop the wobble.

Is @JeepCares telling me I can't drive my truck over 50mph on a Florida highway?!!
I love this truck but I can't take anyone in it. How do I explain this behavior in a brand new truck[regardless of price] I feel more confident driving my 20 year old Ranger with bent axles in the back that cause the wheels to wobble at speed.

@JeepCares Perhaps the damage is not visible to the naked eye, perhaps i'm being brushed off, perhaps your representatives at the dealer(s) aren't looking deep enough. But if the truck was fine before and acting this way now there's a clear problem..FIND IT BEFORE WE HAVE A TRAGEDY. Parts need to be swapped out here! I'm not asking for upgraded parts, just parts that work like they're supposed to. I have many many videos of this problem occurring everyday(as i'm sure others do as well)..I can forward these to you. This has to be addressed!!!

This is total nonsense. Governed at 96, he was only at 90. I've been up to 90 with 2.5" lift and 37's. What's the problem amigo? Drives just fine at 90. He has an issue. Wheels out of balance, sloppy suspension? Who knows, but it should be able to get there.
Lol I didn't see this post somehow. If I remember correctly we're governed at 94 (or whatever depending on trim) because of tire rating, not shoddy production quality. It's a precaution well within tolerances, not at the upper limit of some redline stat bordering on catastrophic outcomes. lmao.

Have you taken it to only a single dealer? Again, I had the TSB done and damper replaced same day on mine and have had no trouble since.

Sometimes, if everything is already tight, death wobble can happen with too much "toe in". Have someone check the "toe in". If there is a lot of "toe in", have them go back to 1/16" toe in, or even less, closer to zero.

Ouch. I know why you feel like you're up a creek atm. Sorry to hear man. I'm glad my dealer takes better care of me so far.

If I was you I'd have supporting video in your vehicle and a folder with all of your visits/correspondence ready to go because I'm thinking this is going to either go lemon/buy back, may as well make it as easy on yourself now while you can.

No I get that. It's not about the governing or not, he should be able to drive without death wobble. It is especially true at those speeds.

It's easy to say don't go 90 if you are in Vancouver where everyone drives like 40 MPH. If you live in Pakistan you're gambling even getting in a car (trust me, bunch of crazy f'ers) Driving in SoCal 80 is SLOW and you will get flipped off a lot if you don't sit behind an 18 wheeler. So "slow down" sounds good in theory but some times you gotta get after it ;)
