Indians … Let’s see … I’m most familiar with the Hahamog’na, a band of native Tongva people, who settled alongside the Arroyo Seco, from the confluence of the Los Angeles River, through Elysian Valley, Highland Park, South Pasadena, and Glendale, to Pasadena and the foothills of Altadena. These people traded in great canoes called ti’at and not just up and down the coast, but to the islands offshore. However, in late September 1770, Spanish explorer Gaspar de Portola, along with Junipero Serra, explored most tributaries of the Los Angeles River and, after finding the latest creek bed nearly dry following the long hot summer, scouted the wash naming it the Arroyo Seco, Spanish for dry wash. The Hahamog’na don’t exist anymore. Their children sickened by disease unknown before the Spanish arrived, and before they were proselytized in the name of the Catholic Church … and Spain.Depends on the tribe.....

As a boy, I hiked the trails of the San Gabriel mountains and the Arroyo Seco, and I saw the remnants of these people’s existence. Don’t try to educate me on Indigenous People, because like them, I got here before you.
Don't be such a delicate snowflakeLmao. Sorry dude. I threw some shade at California and got Bay Area mobbed. It happens.

Respectfully- I mean really,Where are you from? You don’t live in the same reality I do. I couldn’t disagree more. And neither do the many people and big corporate companies that are fleeing this state. That’s not a opinion- that’s a statement of fact.I think the issue wrt to Oceano is it's so far gone from people abusing it. Perhaps after a break itll be back. And it' not closing, it's closing to OHV.
You're seeing less and less because more and more people are causing more and more damage to places like this.
It's not the government's fault, it's the people who caused the damage that are at fault. People can't use things responsibly so they get taken away.
Also, CA is not communist. That's just the boogey man scary term right wingers enjoy but don't understand.
Lol @ Jefferson StateRespectfully- I mean really,Where are you from? You don’t live in the same reality I do. I couldn’t disagree more. And neither do the many people and big corporate companies that are fleeing this state. That’s not a opinion- that’s a statement of fact.
but I guess the filter we look through matters, my filter says beautiful state; screwed broken politics.
