Took my truck in to get my first oil change at about 4900miles. It was the end of the day when I picked it up. They were working on it at 5:15 when I got dropped off. Not sure why but they didn’t give me any paperwork. I’m going to get into this with them today,

Anyway, there Is no visual sign that they replaced my filter or rotated my wheels or tires.

thoughts on what to do? I’m going to take some time stamped photos of the dust that’s clearly still on the filter cap and no hand prints on the rims.

My dealer did not rotate my tires. I think you need to ask for that and for the first tire rotations I would say its not needed until 10K miles or so anyway.

My concern might also be what oil they used. I had to verify they used the right stuff which was a Penzoil. IMO it was also good that you changed it early on the first change. There is likely more trash it there than usual. You might call and ask if they have an oil filter for you to buy and then determine if they "used the last one" or never had one and maybe they didnt change yours.

Good ideas. I called for the service manager and was polite about it With the cashier. Still no call back. I may elevate tomorrow if I don’t get a call back.

something seems shady.
