If anybody wants a nice Hydro Blue Overland EcoDiesel with all records, mine is for sale now locally. This would be a great Jeep. It's already got a long list of nice upgrades. Steer Smarts track bar, aux lights, winch bumper, 2.0/0.75 lift, 34x12.00 Yokohama M/Ts, Gator bed cover, and lots more. It has several factory add-on packages including Premium LED Lighting, Cold Weather, Aux Switches, Spray In Bedliner, Proximity Entry, Alpine audio, and more.

I also have several factory parts for it in my garage, including the wheels and tires. And I can sell you the GDE tune for half price. Takes the diesel to 305 HP/525 lb/ft of torque!

Just wanted to give a heads up. Would love to see a fellow enthusiast here end up with it. Let me know if somebody here buys it!

A Toyota. *GASP* I know, I know....
Just curious why go through all that work including tuning and then dumping it on a Toyota? Had enough with the diesel?

I am not the average Jeep owner. I RELY on my truck every week. I can't sit around for months waiting for mechanical issues to be resolved.

As far as the tuning goes, I do YT reviews and pay for all my parts so it's no big deal. Plus I sell them and pass along the fun to the next guy.

Once they finish the repair it'll be a great Jeep for somebody. I just needed to move on. But somebody will LOVE this thing, and I hope it's a forum member here!

What is being repaired?
It has the very common timing cover oil leak. Parts arrived now and the dealer has an excellent diesel tech assigned to the repair.

Somebody should cash in on this Jeep. Would be a great jump start on mods/build.

Haha! So is it 'really' ready to go? From your YT video that just posted it seems like the dealer does NOT want to do this repair and will procrastinate for as long as they can. One can only wonder if the post on their website is to entertain the potential buyers who will have to wait for the repair to be completed. I don't even want to think about the second possibility (potential buyer is never told about the leak and takes the car home without the fix).

I've been communicating with them. They have the parts and a tech has already been assigned to repair it. And they will do it right. When they did my Ram it never leaked again.

Any smart shopper will contact the previous owner to ask about a vehicle before they buy anyhow, which is what I also did with the truck I ended up bringing home. If somebody calls me I'll answer any questions and will also offer to give them the factory parts I have remaining for it in my garage, other than the engine tune and transmission tune, which I would cut a great deal on.

Yes, someone please buy this Gladiator the current owner just trashed on YouTube and said it will probably never be right. Why would you do that? I just unsubscribed from your YouTube channel.

Apparently you didn't actually watch the video, because I didn't trash it. And I even said the words I'm not trashing it. And I said it WILL be right, because the guys working on it are really good. But thanks for the totally unhelpful comments. What a great guy.

This is the type of thing that makes a guy hate the internet. Too many ***holes on keyboards.

So to recap, this Jeep has the VERY COMMON timing cover oil leak. This dealership fixed my Ram and it never leaked again. They're really good. They will fix this Jeep and it will be right. AND it's under factory warranty for 89,000 more miles.

I simply couldn't wait as I need a truck weekly. And I had other personal reasons for moving back to a full size. Personal reasons that I don't need to or have any obligation to share with the internet.

Nobody here is being fleeced or lied to. I wish all the negative comments could be deleted but unfortunately only moderators can do that and I'm not the type of guy to go down the list and report everybody who's an ***hat trying to crap on someone else's thread.

So if somebody is looking for a fantastic Jeep Gladiator Overland EcoDiesel with a good start on build mods, this would make a fantastic option. And I'd love to chat with you over the phone about the Jeep and share all the service records I have on it. And I'll even give you the factory parts I have in my garage for it. I'm a Jeeper just like all of you, and I'm just trying to help somebody out. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hopefully from here on out we can get back to the point of the thread and guys will be decent enough to keep their negative comments to themselves.
