I have the red one. So much fun to drive and crawl. Has a drag brake or 2 speed transmission. I’m set up with 2 speed. Cheaper than the real thing when it comes to rock rash and roll overs. I have new body ordered to paint gobi.

I had the body ordered and it came in but also got king shocks , milestar patagonias and a factory rubicon steel front bumper for Christmas presents!
Cold weather projects for the little workshop.

wanted to see how the wheel tire combo was going to look.
Still need to paint center caps and install bead locks. Scale one on top Actual on bottom.
My scale is a little off. The Rc wheel to scale is 19in actual is 17in.

That’s my plan. 1/10th scale Remote Control mini me! They have most major tire/wheel replicas. I think I have everything sourced to do the project except for the gobi paint. The paint is on back order but expected by mid Jan. If this turns out as planned, I want to proceed with building a scale boat and trailer to match current full size that can be towed behind mini.

Found this little RC at Target for ~$15, so why not and it has 4wd. Wife thinks I like it more than the kiddos ?‍?

Yesterday got the king shocks filled with 30 weight and installed. Net 10% lift with more flex and they look cool. Today fuel wheels go to paint booth. Hopefully get them mounted to the Patagonia’s and on later this week

Careful with the kings, had 2 sets fall apart, the bracket on bottom that holds spring likes to disappear, but have fun with the mini build I’m always tinkering with my little jeeps, Pinocchio my gladiator gets to expensive to do what I do with theses guys. Pinocchio I’m a real truck

Yeah, I can already tell the mini king’s aren’t as good as factory axial but look better.
2nd issue, the china knock off fuel wheels won’t fit around portals.
onward and upward! I’m going to get it as close as I can without spending more money. Heck. Most of this stuff, 1/10th scale, cost more than 1/10 $

Been in the paint shop and assembly this cold windy weekend. If I can just finish up the wheels this week should be able to post the finished product.

$89.99 at family farm.

Got this last Christmas and it is possibly the worst remote control vehicle I've ever seen. Horribly underpowered. I think my actual gladiator has a smaller turning radius too.
