Mojave Lift Kit Recommendations

We have a 2021 Mohave and are looking to put a 3.5 lift and 37in. wheels and tires. (we prefer Fox shocks) In contacting local installers we have been quoted a crazy insane price that the shocks alone would be well over 5K. Does anyone have any recommendations on kits, shocks........ ect.

We have the Rims and Tires already.

Since we are new to the Jeep world any input would greatly appreciated.

if you look, there's some answers on that here. it seems most people did do a 2 or 2.5 spacer lift to save the shocks as those are pretty solid shocks that come with it.
if you think of replacing them, then a lot more options open up to you. my 2 cents.

Yes. Most shock extensions on the market will work up to 2.5 inches.

If you want to retain your factory shocks, you will need these. They “lift” the shock to accommodate for the amount of lift.

If you choose to buy another shock , then you will not need them. Most likely you will only need a misalignment spacer…depending on brand and fitment

At 3.5" lift you either need to go with shock extensions or new shocks. 5K is steep, check with Accutune, they will valve Fox shocks for your ride.
link to metal cloak for example of a shock extension for the front. Multiple companie make a rear one too. At 3.5" lift the rear shock will only have a couple inches of down travel left, the ride will suffer if you dont add extensions or new shocks.

Smaller lifts, as people have mentioned the AEV spacer is popular. To get 3.5" you would be most likely looking at some of the complete kits that are available. Clayton, Rock Krawler, Metal Cloak etc.

@Mojave Momma this is honestly the best route. Maybe add geo brackets or CA’s ….depending on what your use and needs are.

at least as of a few months ago, no one makes replacement shocks for the Mojave on account of the larger bolt diameter to the front shocks. falcon said theirs were “2 weeks away” for about 12+ months. Fox doesnt make a shock, or a different bolt/bushing, and Accutune would not fabricate one. Unsure if any of that has changed as of today.

one person i am aware of found a shop to custom fabricate the required hardware, but many shops dont have the skills/tools/ability to do this anymore, but if you have that available you could get new bushings and sleeves made and swap to a different shock.

nothing wrong with using shock extensions on a mojave. The fox shocks on the mojave are already “extended travel” and have as much or more as most lift kits out for the glad, metal cloak being one of the notable exceptions. If you need more flex, add front sway disconnects. I posted the travel numbers in some thread before, if memory serves the mojave shocks have more travel than the mopar lift shocks, but i dont recall the exact numbers.

aev 2” spacer brings the front up 3” over a stock rubicon height and is plenty for 37’s.
