I was going to ask the OP to add a comma or break it into 2 sentences.

My personal opinion, its not sexy. . . .

Or is his opinion not sexy?

Either way, I think the ambiguity caused by the missing comma has helped with its views.
original title was a stock JT is ugly. So there’s that ?

Yeah, things done got deep round here, but that's ok, it's stuff we all can relate too. I look at pictures of my 06 HD fxst when it was stock and cover my nose, same with my sport S, shu-wee.

These and other vehicles in bone stock configuration are nothing but blank canvases, the artwork is up to the brush holder.

I would recommend the Rock hard 4x4 sliders, they come in both angled up and down flavors. I bought angled down so that I could use them as a step, they work great!

Love the color BTW, wish mine were Nacho, but the price was to good to pass up.

There's just something about the 245 wheels that makes the whole proportions of the truck look off, almost incomplete. And the rake doesn't help. With just a few tweaks Jeep could make the Base look sharp IMHO...
  • Level the truck - why is Toyota one of the few to figure this out from the factory? Thankfully Teraflex fixes that.
Google Tacoma sagging rear and you'll see that some rake might not be a bad thing. I always see saggy-butt Tacomas and 4-Runners. Gotta love the old saggy 4-Runners...ha

MY issue is this. We are going to use our sport s max tow to tow a 6000 lb travel trailer around the country off the beaten path for dispersed camping and boondocking. Mods, larger tires, metal bumpers and winches add weight and affect the towing I want to do. I drool on the mods, but really need as much of the stock sport s as possible for the towing and cargo, etc.

So how does one avoid their gladiator from looking like a total stock turd but keep the purpose we have it for? It cannot negatively affect the towing.

Suggestions welcome.
Get some Wild Peaks that are stock diameter and whatever wheels you like with decent backspacing. No lift needed, any effect on towing ability is negligible, the look is changed dramatically for the better, and you get way better traction in all conditions.

I understand if a dealer puts his name on a plate frame or something like that, but it always bothered me when they stick a cheap plastic logo or sticker on a new Paint job. That is going to be a blast with the top off.
Removing the dealer badge/sticker is always the first mod a preform.
