Where are you rubbing at full lock? The skid plate?I'm on 37s with the MOPAR 2" lift and I have running. Only at full lock, but it's definitely there.
Just trying to decide if adding a 1" spacer lift to help with the running would mess up angles enough to need to change out other hardware.
Seriously consider adding front and rear track bars if you add any more height to a Mopar lift.I'm on 37s with the MOPAR 2" lift and I have running. Only at full lock, but it's definitely there.

Thanks. What bumper do you have? Mine is the factory plastic one. Looks like that might be a issue with mine at full flex. Iam considering a stubby bumper but not for a few months. Here are a couple pics. The rear seems to have more clearance issues than the front, seems like the rear tires rub mostly at the front of the inner fender. The fronts dont' rub a ton; after several trips to Moab it hasn't been enough that I can see where it is rubbing on the fender to try and re-shape things a bit.

Both are the stock plastic. I'm planning on a stubby up front (probably the Arcus) and I'm waiting for a high clearance bumper that I like to become available for the rear. Hoping with time more bumpers come out for the rear, as of now the only high clearance are stupid expensive.Thanks. What bumper do you have? Mine is the factory plastic one. watch out for the ARCUS bumper. I have it with 37 ko2’s and a mopar. when I was wheeling a few wks ago my buddy told me the corner of the bumper was rubbing on the tire. I’m guessing there’s a big possibility for a puncture/gash from the bumper. I was trying to climb some rock and I was fully flexed and turning. But that’s still something to consider. I might trim down the edges to ensure I’m not rubbing in the future. I also have a warm winch so maybe that added weight cause a slight sag to get that rub. Did you have to do anything else to be able to add the 1" spacer? Extended lines, different control arms compared to the mopar 2" lift alone, etc?I have not had any issue but also running 1" spacer up front on top of the Mopar 2" lift and swapped bumpers.
Yes, extended brake lines and adjustable track bar. Track bar is not 100% needed but if you don't do it your front axle will most likely be off-center by roughly 3/4 to a full 1 inch.Did you have to do anything else to be able to add the 1" spacer? was looking at a leveling kit as well as a synergy adjustable track bar. I even think an adjustable track bar would do the trick as well. Should probably try that before modifying my bumper. Haha!! It's sort of an apples and oranges comparison, but I have a JTR with 35s and the Mopar lift, and took off the ends of the OEM steel bumper and I get no rubbing even at full articulation over stairs and waterfalls. I assume that the JTRs are already higher than the Willys.Just looking for some concrete answers on any rubbing with a mopar lift and 37s on a willys. I have 35s on 17x9 -6.00 wheels with no issues. Looks like the place there might be a problem is the plastic skid plate/air dam and maybe the exhaust. The pic is the clearance on the 35s with the skid plate. Thanks![]()
