Got on interstate today and when accelerating My JT shut down. The Traction Control light came on and check engine light also came on and in the information area it said service electronic stability control. It was an unsafe situation as I coasted it wouldn't let me go over 30 MPH. I pulled over, shut it off and restarted it. It then ran okay with the check engine light on. I headed to the office as I had a code reader in my work vehicle. While heading there my wife googled it and found that others have had this issue and they say to make sure the fuses are seated all the way. 600 miles and it does this shit? Got to the office and yes there were several fuses that needed to be seated further. Reset the check engine light and it is running fine now. What in the hell Jeep? Not impressed.

Forgot to add when I checked the codes it said it was due to Throttle Control. Hopefully this was just because of all the loose fuses from the factory and it doesn't do it again.

Sounds pretty much like something that can happen. Hopefully that got it fixed.

There have been a few people who have reset the fuses, or at least pushed them in firmly and fixed other odd or weird things. Mine were seated as firmly as you can get them when I got it. I always get curious and check out fuse panels to get familiar with things - I'm snoopy, and mine were in fine from the get go. Pushing as hard as I could gained nothing.
And yet others have said they got theirs in a fair amount farther by checking and pushing them in firmly. Sounds like a spotty issues folks could or should check anyway for kicks.

Thanks so much for posting this. Same thing happened to me yesterday. Hoghway 33 in Ohio, went to overtake the vehicle in front of me and the check engine light came on, stability control light and the flashing red Electronic throttle contro light flashing. I pulled off, shut down and restarted and everything was fine except the Check Engine so I drove straight to the dealership. 590 miles on mine, day 2 of ownership. Needless to say, I was NOT Happy! Hoping mine will be as simple as this.

I had to push all of my fuses into place. Hit a bump and all of my dash lights went out. Hit another bump and they all came back on. went home and checked the fuses.

I will definitely keep this fuse issue in mind if I hit this problem again, especially after any wheeling. I wanted to leave an update here regarding my problem with the CEL and visit to the dealership. My Gladiator spent 4 days in the dealerships garage while they waited for a new throttle body. Bad batch of throttle bodies? who knows, but apparently the fuses were seated just fine, but the throttle body or the chip inside it maybe?, was bad. My throttle body was stuck partially open apparently. Dealership replaced it and I have been driving it for 2 days now (albeit nerviously) without issue, If there are any changes I will post here, otherwise, all is well!
