I know that can't be ideal. Have 37's on out JLUR and 4.10 gears and on the highway it rarely sees 8th gear.

Thank you captain obvious. You didn’t ask for the ideal gears but what we were running.?
I’m about 15k miles in with this setup. I wanted to try it before changing. Although not ideal, definitely doable for mild wheeling and my driving. Just not sure I want to change at this point or just wait for the next build on the 392 jt. ?

I'm re-geared to 5.13 which gave me 7th and 8th gear back and feels good off the line.

Mine has 5.13 on 37s. Just wondering is that was enough for 40s. the numbers on the gear calc looked good, but was wondering if real life worked out the same.

Yes and yes. At 60mph I'm right around 2,000 rpms +-

Clayton Off Road 2.5 inch lift with a Bilstein B8 8100 shocks and 40 inch tires.
